Peer Support Groups
Our volunteer-led peer support groups are the heart of our charity, and we warmly invite you to join any of our regular daytime sessions—no advance booking needed. Whether you're seeking support or looking to connect with others, you’re always welcome to drop by and be part of our community.

Tuesday
Easy Walking - 12pm - 1:30pm
Join our friendly walking group. It’s a great way to get out in nature, meet new people and exercise. Did you know walking just 30 mins per day improves self-perception, self-esteem, mood and sleep quality Plus it reduces stress, anxiety and fatigue.
Wednesday
The Evergreens (for 55+) - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
An opportunity for you to connect with others who may be feeling lonely and isolated
Men's Group - 1.30pm - 3:30pm
A space to chat openly about mental health and build a non-judgemental support network in a comfortable environment. Welcoming men of all ages and backgrounds, we aim to promote bonding as a team to overcome mental challenges and build confidence. £1 donation is welcome.
Thursday
Womens Group - 10.30am - 12:30pm
A varied programme can include complementary therapies, guest speakers, craft activities, talking, company and support. £1 donation is welcome.
Walking Group - 1.30pm - 2:30pm

Allotment - 10am - 12pm
Are you interested in being involved in our allotment? We are looking for people who would like to grow and tend to our Monkmoor allotment. If you would like to grow friendships and vegetables.
Crafty Afty - 1.30pm - 3:30pm
A warm and welcoming support group with lots of paints, pastels and pens, plus loads more. Why not have a go at being creative or pop in for company and tea?
Sunday
Drop In - 11:30am - 2:30pm
A warm and friendly space for peer support, and a means to broaden your support network along with some light-hearted chat and activities.

24/7 Telephone Support
We are here to offer a compassionate listening ear when you’re struggling. As a listening service, we know how important it is to have someone to talk to when things feel overwhelming, our telephone support staff are here for you.
If we can’t answer your call right away, please leave us a voicemail message clearly stating your name and number. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Evening Calmer Cafe’s
Our Calmer Cafés are based in Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Oswestry and attendance is strictly by appointment only.
This weekday evening service is dedicated to providing a supportive and welcoming space for individuals navigating mental health challenges. Our sessions offer a warm and safe environment, and each session is limited to a maximum of four participants to ensure a comfortable and engaging experience.

The Redwoods Shop
The Redwoods Shop, located at The Redwoods Centre, is open six days a week, from Sunday to Friday, and welcomes everyone – staff, patients, visitors, and the wider community. We offer a range of products, including newspapers, books, gifts, clothing, toiletries, snacks, drinks, and confectionery. We strive to meet customer needs and pride ourselves on offering a friendly shopping experience. Our shop has been awarded a level 5 food hygiene rating by Shropshire Council.
